Day 1 - Regensburg

INCLUDED NIGHT OUT – DEUTSCHLAND DISCOVERY
This one’s for the students. Head to Regensburg at sunset and experience the youthful buzz of Old Town, home to some of the best nightlife in all of Deutschland.

Kick things off with a host-escorted walk, stopping at the city’s famous churches and aristocratic houses from the 13th and 14th centuries.

Then if the weather’s nice, head to the Stone Bridge to eat, drink and mingle under the moonlight. Regensburg comes alive at night, as you will see.

Day 2 - Straubing & Passsau

INCLUDED NIGHT OUT – THE PASSAU SOCIAL
Passau’s old town is a pedestrian-friendly hot spot for food, drink and good times. Step right off the ship and follow your nose to one of the city’s great pubs or bars. In the summertime, people gather on the shores of the Inn River, one of three meeting in Passau, to chat, drink and eat, or play volleyball or soccer. Get some exercise, then treat yourself to some hearty pub cuisine. After, head to a Bavarian beer garden for a true Passau experience. Celebrate good times. Come on.

U TIME – SUNDAY FUNDAY
What do Bavarians do on Sundays? Find out for yourself as you follow your U Host through an idyllic market square for some authentic beer tasting and sausages. Then either visit one of the largest existing Roman treasures in Gasthof or take bicycles to St. Peter’s Church and Agnes Bernauer’s tombstone.

Into beautiful scenery and architecture? Don’t pass on Passau. Situated at the intersection of the Danube, Inn and llz rivers, the city boasts some of the best views on the German-Austrian border. Take a hike to the two best viewpoints: Veste Oberhaus and Mariahilf Pilgrimage Church. The views are storybook, allowing you to see the entire city of Passau as well as the surrounding countryside. Get lost in the city’s maze of old town alleys. Get your architecture fix at St. Stephen’s Cathedral, with its distinctive domed towers. Fun fact: The cathedral is also home to one of the largest organs in the world, with 17,974 pipes.

Dürnstein, Austria, is a beautiful town situated along the Danube River. Explore its restaurants, shops and scenic views to discover why it’s nicknamed the “Pearl of the Wachau.” Take a stroll through the town’s narrow cobblestone streets to historical buildings like the Blue Monastery Church and Abbey. Last but definitely not least, hike up to the famous Dürnstein Castle ruins where Richard the Lionheart was once a prisoner, and have a dream photo op. With expansive views of the Danube River and Wachau Valley, this is a can’t-miss experience.

Vienna’s electronic music scene is world-famous for a reason, and this is your chance to dance your way into tomorrow. Step off the ship and follow your host on a club-hopping escapade to the nightclubs by the Danube Canal. If there’s one place you have to stop, it’s Flex, one of the best-known clubs in Europe for its rich beats and famous musicians and DJs. Then make the rounds at the Volksgarten Disco and Albertina Passage. They’re as fun as they sound.
