Freechoice: Wake before sunrise and board a sampan to visit the famous Cai Be Floating wholesale market before stopping at local industries and French colonial houses along the Mekong. Then either choose to return to the ship or continue exploring Dong Ha Hiep Island in smaller long tail boats to the smaller tributaries and fruit farms. Alternatively relax on board before savouring morning tea at the French colonial Le Longanier House with local musicians and cultural demonstrations. Later, after a short cruise up river, immerse yourself in today’s second shore excursion, a trip to the historic town of Sa Dec. From your sampandisembark, explore and interact with the sellers in the lively market, then visit the home of Mr Huynh Thuy Le who inspired Marguerite Duras’ L’Amant.

After cruising through the night you will wake to find yourself in the Vietnamese town of Tan Chau.
Freechoice: Stay in Tan Chau and visit Evergreen Island before riding in a Xe loi to visit the local Cao Dai Temple. Alternatively choose from two options which include a cruise by speedboat to Chau Doc. Visit a family-operated fish farm, walk through a local Cham village and take a Xe loi ride around Chau Doc. Alternately visit Tra Su Bird Sanctuary and a local Khmer village.

Today you cross the border into beautiful Cambodia. Spend the morning sailing towards Phnom Penh. Later berth in Phnom Penh, capital of Cambodia
Freechoice: Journey to the Killing Fields and tour Tuol Sleng, the former school that was converted to the main prison of the Khmer Rouge, or take a guided tour of the local food market before joining a hands-on Khmer cooking demonstration. Alternatively, explore Phnom Penh’s colonial buildings and Central Market by tuk tuk. After lunch, you will visit the National Museum, Royal Palace and the famous Silver Pagoda.

After a short cruise from Phnom Penh to Prek K’dam, board your coach to the ancient capital of Oudong to visit the mountain stupas, pagoda and monastery
Enrich: During your visit to the pagoda you will be invited to receive a blessing from a Buddhist monk before giving a donation of food. Drive to Wat Kampong Tralach before experiencing an ox cart ride back to Scenic Spirit. After lunch on board, disembark for a visit to the silversmith village of Kho Chen

Walk to the top of Wat Hanchey and soak in some ofthe best elevated views of the cruise. Back on board, your journey continues downstream to Kampong Cham where you will discover the legend of Phnom Pros (Man Hill) and Phnom Srei (Woman Hill), and explore the ecotourism village of Cheung Kok. Afterwards, visit the spectacular sight of Wat Nokor

Disembark your ship and set off on a drive to your hotel in Siem Reap.

Today you are invited to delve into the jungle temples of Ta Prohm and Preah Khan.
Enrich: After exploring some of Cambodia’s most historic temples, you will learn all about an initiative created to train local Cambodian archaeologists to take over the ongoing maintenance of said temples. Later, discover Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple and the Elephant Terrace before stopping at Angkor.
Enrich: Begin your day in style by watching the sun rise over Angkor Wat with a glass of champagne in hand.
Freechoice: Visit Banteay Srei and the Landmine Museum, or explore Beng Mealea temple and the Artisans D’Angkor Handicraft Centre. Alternatively, embark on a cruise on the freshwater lake of Tonle Sap.
