Today will be spent in the charming city of Strasbourg, a city alive with French and German influences. The capital of Alsace, Strasbourg is a city of great importance, both historically and today, as the home of the Council of Europe. Perhaps take an optional city tour, to see the Cathedral of Notre Dame, the European Parliament and the Place Republique.

We continue into Germany as the ship navigates towards Speyer, where there will be an optional city walk. We continue to Mannheim, from where we take an included excursion to the romantic and picturesque, ancient university town of Heidelberg. Highlights are the Baroque-style old town and the impressive castle. This evening we enjoy dinner on board.

Today we arrive in Rüdesheim, home to the famous cobbled Drosselgasse, where lively inns and wine cellars line the street. You may like to spend the morning sampling the local produce in a wine tavern; or perhaps join an optional tour of the city which features a visit to Siegfried’s Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum, home to an array of automated music machines from the 18th-20th centuries.
We continue along the Rhine to Koblenz, one of Germany’s oldest cities, with a history dating back to Roman times. Here we have an included walking tour of the city, exploring the town’s abundance of cultural monuments, historic buildings, narrow streets and romantic squares.

This morning is spent cruising to the old and beautiful town of Cochem. With stunning scenery and landscape, it will feel as though you have stepped into a fairytale. There will be an optional city walking tour and wine tasting available.

This morning we arrive in Cologne, where you can take an optional guided walking tour, taking you through the Old Town to the magnificent gothic cathedral that dominates the city skyline. A masterpiece of the high-gothic period, it is one of the largest cathedrals in Europe and attained even greater status after the Second World War, as it remained standing proudly amid the ruins of the city centre.

We cruise from Utrecht to Amsterdam today. On offer will be a city tour of Amsterdam, with a canal cruise. The city is home to tree-lined canals, a wealth of cafes and some beautiful 17th and 18th century buildings. This evening we enjoy our final night with a farewell dinner.

We disembark and transfer to the airport for our return British Airways flight to London Heathrow Airport. On arrival, our staff will greet you and transfer you to Titan transport for your journey home to your own front door.
