A river of legend and romance, celebrated in art, poetry, literature and music, the Rhine is a joy to cruise. Every turn brings with it new vistas of rolling vineyards and picturesque villages seemingly unchanged in hundreds of years, and the stretch known as the Middle Rhine Valley, overlooked by 40 fairytale castles, has been recognised as a World Heritage Site in its own right. Appreciate this inspiring river from the comfort of the spectacular SS Antoinette, the finest cruise ship to sail its waters
We begin with Titan's VIP Home Departure Service® to London Gatwick Airport and a direct scheduled British Airways flight to Zurich. Upon arrival, we transfer to our historic 4★ hotel, the Wilden Mann, where we enjoy an included dinner.

Situated halfway between Paris and Prague, the Alsatian town of Strasbourg is known as the "crossroads of Europe". It is home to a magnificent Gothic cathedral and beautiful half-timbered houses. On our included excursion, we will view Strasbourg in the way that it has been seen through centuries - on a canal cruise. In addition to viewing the town's covered bridges, Medieval watchtowers, old tanners' district and the modern building that houses the European Parliament, you will see 'La Petite France', the picturesque district that seems as if it had been lifted from the pages of a fairytale. We sail late tonight.
