Afternoon arrival in Magdeburg, a strikingly different town where medieval monuments stand out starkly again the uniform post-war buildings. Our included city tour takes us to the historical old market where you will see the Magdeburger Rieter, Germany's oldest detached statue dating back to 1240. Our tour will finish with a visit to the magnificent cathedral. Late evening sailing.

Our destination today is Meissen, a city with a 1000 year history - also known as the "Cradle of Saxony". You may wish to join an optional tour in Meissen which includes a city tour and visit to the famous Meissen Porcelain Centre. Early evening sailing to Dresden.

Our coach and walking tour through the city of Dresden - also known as Florence on the Elbe - gives us a fine impression of this lovely city. We take a guided walk through the centre to see the major sights of the rebuilt Church of Our Lady, the Zwinger and the Semper Opera House. The city has many finely restored buildings and it will not fail to impress you. Afternoon sailing to Kleinzschawitz where you will have the opportunity to join an optional excursion to Pillnitz Castle and to Saxon Switzerland. Evening sailing to Decin where we overnight.

Afternoon arrival in Litomerice, once of the oldest and finest towns in Bohemia. Around the Market Square there are a series of Renaissance Buildings - including the Town Hall. An optional guided walk takes us back to the 18th century when Litomerice was an imperial city and bishopric. Spend the late afternoon leisurely cruising the Moldau (Vltava) River before arriving in Mělník this evening.

Early afternoon we sail into the heart of the city of Prague, the golden capital of the new Republic, located in its unrivalled setting on the banks of the Moldau River. The city has a rich cultural tradition going back centuries with Haydn, Beethoven, Liszt and Mozart all spending time in Prague, while it was here that Figaro was first acclaimed and Don Giovanni received its first performance. Our city tour by coach and on foot will include the Castle and Charles Bridge. Overnight on board in Prague.

After breakfast, we disembark and transfer to the airport for our return direct British Airways flight to London Heathrow Airport. On arrival, our staff will greet you and transfer you to Titan transport for your journey home to your own front door.
