Prices are per person, based on two people sharing a twin cabin with a limited number of single cabins available on all decks, at the relevant supplement. The price includes full board from dinner on your day of arrival until breakfast on your final day; if you choose to travel with us on any of the full day excursions by coach, a packed lunch will be provided. Anyone choosing to stay on the ship may of course have lunch in the restaurant; morning/afternoon tea and coffee; all visits and excursions as mentioned in the brochure, airport transfers, coach travel as mentioned, travel to and from port of embarkation and the services of a Scenic Travel Tour Manager.

Day 2 - Bordeaux & Saint Emilion
Enjoy a pleasant morning cruise on the Dordogne River to Libourne. While cruising, perhaps try your hand at a masterclass in French cuisine in Scenic Culinaire. Spend the afternoon in the nearby town of Saint-Émilion, an absolute visual feast and the jewel of this ancient wine growing region. You’ll also get to explore the underground catacombs of the Monolithic Church – a true trip highlight.
Day 3 - Libourne
Cruise the tranquil waters of the Dordogne River before you glide across the wide expanse of the mighty Gironde Estuary bound for Blaye. Perhaps join your on board culinary team for a cooking lesson in Scenic Culinaire this afternoon.

Discover the remarkable Blaye region today. This afternoon you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a masterclass in Scenic Culinaire or relax as we cruise to Pauillac.

This afternoon, discover the Carriages Museum in the enchanting Bourg Castle, including a walk through the 16th century passageway to the guards rooms and see the immense WWII oil tanks. Alternatively visit a local estate, and learn its fascinating history while sampling some of the extraordinary wines produced on site.
Day 6 - Cadillac

Venture into the Sauternes region for a tasting of the prestigious Château Guiraud dessert wines. Or cycle through the rolling vineyards of Sauternes to taste the exquisite Grand Cru Class wines of Château Myrat.
Alternatively, take a walking tour of Cadillac including a visit to Château de Cadillac, a truly beautiful château that dates back to the 15th century.
Day 7 - Bordeaux
Today, discover the World Heritage-listed city of Bordeaux with its idyllic boulevards and architecture.
Back on board, your Cruise Director will organise a special treat for you, with a tasting of fresh oysters delivered straight from the waters of Arcachon Bay. Then, spend the afternoon at leisure in Bordeaux before a special dinner on board showcasing regional delicacies.

Day 8 Bordeaux - Return Home
Disembark after breakfast and transfer to Bordeaux airport or train station. Travel to one of up to 16 UK airports or by first class rail from Bordeaux to Paris, before Standard Premier Class aboard the Eurostar to St. Pancras International.
