Day 3 - Hanoi

Day 4 - Hanoi & Ha Long Bay

Day 11 - Cu Chi Tunnels, Ho Chi Minh City
This morning take a step back in time and revisit the military history of the area. Visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, built by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the Vietnam War. Part of a larger network, the tunnels were used by Viet Cong guerrillas as hiding spots during combat. They also served as communication and supply routes, hospitals, weapons caches and living quarters for numerous guerrilla fighters. Nowadays, Cu Chi has since become a place of pilgrimage, offering a unique hands-on historic engagement.
Day 12 - Ho Chi Minh City, Embark Cruise

Day 13 - Cai Be, Sa Dec
Take a local boat to the town of Cai Be. Go ashore to see Cai Be’s French Gothic Cathedral and a visit to a local rice paper manufacturer to learn how rice paper is made. Visit floating markets, then cruise to Sa Dec. Here, you’ll see Huynh Thuy Le’s old house (once the lover of French writer Marguerite Duras, the namesake of the RV La Marguerite) and visit a Cao Dai Temple.
Day 14 - Tan Chau, Border Crossing
Transfer to a small boat for a journey along the tiny tributaries that snake around Tan Chau, step ashore for a rickshaw tour and visit a local island. Spend the remainder of the day on board as your ship cruises to the Cambodian border. Offering views, reclining lounges, a swimming pool and cold drinks from the bar, the Sun Deck is a great place to relax. This afternoon, you might like to attend a fruit-carving demonstration by the ship’s chef while border formalities are carried out and you cross into Cambodia. Tonight, perhaps watch a documentary about Pol Pot, leader of the Khmer Rouge, as your ship cruises towards Phnom Penh.
Day 15 - Phnom Penh
Today join an excursion to the infamous Killing Fields and the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, on the site of the Khmer Rouge’s notorious Security Prison 21 (S-21). Here, you’ll learn of the atrocities inflicted upon Cambodians during Pol Pot’s regime in the mid-to-late 1970s. Later this afternoon in Phnom Penh, a tour takes you to visit the Royal Palace. You’ll also see the opulent and extravagant Silver Pagoda, located within the Royal Palace complex. After dinner, perhaps step out for an evening walk around the capital.
Day 16 - Phnom Penh, Koh Chen
Today enjoy time at leisure in Phnom Penh. Later, cruise to Koh Chen, a village specialising in the manufacture of copperware. Here, you’ll visit some small family home-workshops and have the opportunity to buy souvenirs.
Day 17 - Oudong, Kampong Tralach
Take an authentic ox-cart ride, also know a “Khmer Limousine”, a popular method of transport in rural Cambodia. Travel to the former royal capital of Oudong for a traditional Buddhist blessing. Today, disembark in Prek K’dam before you travel by coach to Oudong. Continue to Kampong Tralach and enjoy a small boat excursion of the lush wetlands.
Day 18 - Kampong Chhang
Enjoy a boat excursion into the watery streets near the river port town that is Kampong Chhnang, before casting off to Prek K’dam.
Day 19 - Disembark Cruise At Prek K’dam, Siem Reap, Angkor
This morning, disembark in Prek K’dam, where floating villages line the tributaries of this stunning region. Where quaint towns and sleepy villages lend the Mekong a unique charm, transfer to Siem Reap. Meet with underprivileged children at Opportunities of Development thru Art (ODA), and get a glimpse into the organisation that supports them by providing a creative, educative and loving environment. Day 20 - Angkor, Siem Reap
