Sister to the Katha and from the same yard delivered in 2013, the only difference with the Katha is an enclosed air conditioned dining room insisted on by an American charterer. Originally on the Mekong in 2015 we transferred her to the Red River in North Vietnam.
In fact the enclosed dining room has proved useful as it can be cold up there in winter. With all the style and elegance of an original 1920s river steamer, but with all the modern facilities on board. The RV Angkor features teak decks and brass adornments, creating a wonderfully colonial atmosphere as you cruise through some of Asia’s most stunning landscapes. Pandaw also supports some local charity projects, so by travelling on board their vessels you will be helping the communities that line your route and may even visit some of the projects en route.
